Up to 3,000 seniors will enjoy a fun and festive start to Canada Day at the Mayor’s Annual Canada Day Celebration for Seniors on Wednesday, July 1 at the Aberdeen Pavilion, Lansdowne Park.
Acting Mayor Michel Bellemare will welcome his guests as they arrive at the main entrance of the Aberdeen Pavilion at 8 a.m. Entertainment will be provided by the Ottawa Fiddle Ensemble, Capital City Chorus, Doug and Pam Champagne and the Fabulous Edsels. Door prizes, including a round-trip for four people to Halifax compliments of VIA Rail, will be drawn at the breakfast. This event is made possible by the generous support of more than 25 sponsors.
The event concludes at 11 a.m.
