Investigators are looking for public assistance in identifying the driver of a hit and run collision that occurred last evening on Merivale Road.
The involved vehicle is believed to be a large white SUV style vehicle that was last seen traveling northbound on Merivale near Cleopatra.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Collision Investigation Section at 613-236- 1222 3xt. 2481 or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477 (TIPS) or toll free at 1-800-222-8477.

(Ottawa) - Investigators have determined that the collision occurred sometime between 7:45 and 8:05 p.m. as the victim was walking south on Merivale Road.
The name of the victim is not being released at this time.

The Ottawa Police is looking for the public assistance in a fatal hit and run collision on Merivale Rd
(Ottawa) - The Ottawa Police Service and the Ottawa Paramedic Service responded to a hit and run collision on Merivale Rd near the intersection of Cleopatra Drive. A 57- year-old man pedestrian was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
