Public assistance sought to identify bank robbery suspect

The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Section is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in relation to a robbery at the CIBC on Lorry Greenberg Drive on November 18, 2008.

 The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Section is
asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in
relation to a robbery at the CIBC on Lorry Greenberg Drive
on November 18, 2008.

At about 4:45 p.m., a man entered the bank, approached a
teller and demanded money.  No weapon was seen.  The
suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction with a
quantity of cash. No injuries were sustained during the
course of the robbery. 

The suspect is described as:  Black, 19-23 yrs, slim build,
approx. 5’4” (164 cm) tall, black hair-afro, wearing a
white bandana over his head, a puffy black, down-filled
winter jacket, black pants.


Anyone with information is asked to contact the Robbery
Unit at 613-236-1222 ext.5116 or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-
8477 (TIPS).
