On September 17, 2008, the Ottawa Police Service is hosting a Community Open House to show plans for a new West Division Patrol Station at 211 Huntmar Drive (at Palladium and Huntmar).
Community Open House When: Wednesday, September 17, 2008 Time: 7 – 9 PM Location: Kanata Recreation Centre, 100 Walter Baker Place, Upper/Bingo Hall
The Community Open House will allow residents to see the proposal for the site and to ask questions to the staff involved in the design and implementation of this project.
It is customary for Ottawa Police Service to work directly with the communities we support during the development of exciting new projects such as the West Division Patrol Station. The purpose of the community open house is to engage the community and encourage public input. The outcome of the open house will provide valuable input into the planning and approvals process.
The facility, to be built and operational by December 2009, will consist of a 41,000 square foot freestanding structure complete with over 200 parking spaces, located on the 5.6- acre site.
