Formed in December 2007 and hailing from Peterborough, Birthday Boys have released a string of singles available for free download off their website, www.birthdayboysmusic.com. The first single, ’Wasted’ was produced by Shawn Bradley (Mellowdrone) and mixed by Tristan Ivemy (Babyshambles, The Holloways, The Magic Numbers). The second, ’Guts for Brains’ was also produced by Shawn Bradley, but mixed by Eli Janney (Ryan Adams, Garbage, The Secret Machines, also of GVSB fame). There is an LP in the works for release in summer ’08. A series of minute-long music videos are in the works to accompany the singles. As well as being available for free download, the singles will be available in very limited edition hardcopy with b-sides, sold off-stage.
