2 May 07, 2008 exposé, a cutting-edge anti-tobacco industry initiative supported by Ottawa Public Health, presents its own short film festival called “exposé UNCUT: It’s OUR Turn to Target Big Tobacco.”
exposé, a cutting-edge anti-tobacco industry initiative supported by Ottawa Public Health, presents its own short film festival called “exposé UNCUT: It’s OUR Turn to Target Big Tobacco.” Each film exposes the tobacco industry’s attempts to market their products at youth, and will be aired in its entirety. Students will vote for the winning French and English film with a keypad that automatically tabulates the results. Dr. Isra Levy, Acting Medical Officer of Health, will hand out prizes to the winners on stage. Date: Tuesday, May 6, 2008 Time: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 11:15 a.m. -Dr. Levy speaks & view film finalists (photo op) Winners announced at noon (photo op) Location: Bronson Centre 211 Bronson Avenue The morning also includes a presentation of the Whalen Memorial exposé Scholarship, a performance by exposé’s own slam poet, Nathanaël Larochette, and some humorous videos created by exposé youth facilitators.
