2 March 18, 2008 The Ottawa Senators announced today that fewer than 1,500 tickets are available for purchase for the team's five remaining home games.
The Ottawa Senators announced today that fewer than 1,500 tickets are available for purchase for the team's five remaining home games. Having sold out 29 consecutive games, and 33 of their 36 home dates this season, the club is on pace to set a new record with 38 of a possible 41 sellouts in 2007-08. Only 300 tickets remain for the Senators' next home game, which is Thursday, March 20 versus the St. Louis Blues. The Senators' two home games in April are Fan Appreciation Nights. Senators remaining home games include: Thursday, March 20, vs. St. Louis at 7:30 p.m. - Fewer than 300 tickets Saturday, March 22, vs. Toronto at 7 p.m. - Fewer than 250 tickets Thursday, March 27, vs. Buffalo at 7:30 p.m. - Fewer than 750 tickets Tuesday, April 1, vs. Montreal at 7:30 p.m. - Fewer than 10 tickets Friday, April 4, vs. Boston at 7:30 p.m. - Fewer than 180 tickets Scotiabank Place attendance information for Senators games: Season game-high attendance: 20,292 against the Montreal Canadiens, Feb. 9, 2008 Season total attendance: 712,014 through 36 games Season average attendance: 19,778 with 33 sellouts (29 consecutive) Tickets for all Senators games can be purchased on-line at www.CapitalTickets.ca, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at any Sport Experts location in the Ottawa-Gatineau area and at Scotiabank Place's box office.
