Prime Time in Ottawa March 6-8, 2013

Prime Time in Ottawa is a must-attend film and television conference that attracts industry experts and executives from around the world to discuss the changing landscape of film,TV and digital media. Learn about  2013 trends and Canada’s role in the global picture.

International speakers including Robert Tercek, former US Senator and current Chairman and CEO of the Motion Picture Association of America, Chris Dodd, and executives from the UK and Australia will look at global trends and how they will affect Canadian producers.

Prime Time in Ottawa will also feature a variety of panel discussions. Robert Lantos and Victor Loewy will join a panel examining the increasing challenge Canadian theatrical films are experiencing in reaching Canadian audiences. Nancy Franklin, production executive for Shaw Media, will discuss her show Real Housewives of Vancouver as well as lifestyle and reality television in the panel “Keeping it Real.”

Conference delegates will also have the opportunity to hear from the new CRTC Chairperson, Jean-Pierre Blais, as well as enjoy a night of comedy with fellow delegates and speakers at Licenced to Laugh.
