Students and alumni from the Alberta College of Art & Design (ACAD)
will be sharing their creativity with Ottawa Transit riders during the
Alberta Scene. Powering Creativity, is the name of this mobile art
gallery showcased in 400 buses on Ottawa Transit's fleet. The work of
10 ACAD students and alumni is featured along with statements outlining
the element of Alberta that has inspired their work.

ALL ABOARD! The Media are invited to explore our "gallery on wheels" at 53 Elgin Street outside the NAC Fourth Stage entrance Friday, April 29 at 12:00. One OC Transpo bus will become the showcase for all 10
Powering Creativity Designs, as well as displaying the 5 Poems from
"Beyond the Scene: Poetry in Motion" (commissioned by the Edmonton Arts
Council). Interviews can be arranged with Alberta's Minister of
Community Development, Gary Mar, ACAD President & CEO Lance Carlson, and ACAD Students.
