The Mayor's Breakfast Series is pleased to welcome His Excellency Dr. Andrew Pocock, British High Commissioner, as this month's keynote speaker. His Excellency’s speech will focus on preparations for the 2012 Olympic Games held in London from July 27 – August 12.
Mayor Watson will also present a special Olympic Flag to His Excellency that was signed by hundreds of Ottawa school kids, which will be sent to the Athletes Village in London.
Focusing on issues such as economic development, transportation and the environment, the monthly Breakfast Series is an important forum to discuss ideas that are important to Ottawa's prosperity and quality of life. At every breakfast, Mayor Jim Watson updates attendees on recent City Hall issues and initiatives.
