Along with toys and goodies, Santa Claus may be delivering minor traffic disruptions on Saturday, November 19, starting at 5 p.m. during the 2011 Help Santa Toy Parade.
The City of Ottawa is advising motorists to expect delays due to road closures to accommodate the parade starting at 5 p.m. and lasting until about 8 p.m.
The following roads will be closed:
Roads will reopen as the parade passes.
The parade has altered its route from previous years and will now start at the National Archives on Wellington Street, travel east on Wellington Street, turn right on Bank Street, then take a left on Laurier Avenue. The parade continues along Laurier Avenue and ends at Elgin Street.
