The City of Ottawa today officially launched its United Way Employee Campaign with the theme of “Connectivity.” The City of Ottawa's United Way campaign is traditionally one of the largest in the Capital. Last year's campaign surpassed its goal through employee donations and special events. This year's goal is $590,000.
A presentation will be made at City Council early in 2011 to announce the results of the City’s campaign. The United Way funds more than 200 programs and partnerships throughout Ottawa that connects and help residents in need.
