"32 Octaves" with the Balanced Rock Sculptures by John Felice Ceprano, Remic Rapids Park, Ottawa
Annie Lefebvre will present a new Butoh dance performance titled, "32 Octaves", choreographed by The Thistle Project's Matthew Romantini.
Annie Lefebvre
is a multifaceted creator. Credits include 15 secondes, Apocalypse à Kamloops, FranCoeur, (TFO, Radio-Canada television) and Coma Unplugged. She was nominated for a Prix Rideau Award in the “Outstanding Female Performance” category for her role of Medea and of Roberta in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea. Her first solo work entitled “The Squatter Heart” which premiered in June 2009 at the Ottawa Fringe Festival also merited a Prix Rideau Award nomination for “Outstanding Fringe Production”.
