The City of Ottawa is undertaking planning and functional design for the Downtown Ottawa Transit Tunnel (DOTT) that will result in the expansion and improvement of the downtown rapid transit network.
Residents are invited to the City’s third DOTT open house which will provide information on the recommended plan to construct a Transit Tunnel through the downtown core from the University of Ottawa to Booth Street, as well as the conversion of 12 km of Transitway to rail from Blair Station to Tunney’s Pasture, the functional design details for the project, including planning, construction and costs and the City’s recommended rail technology choice.
Date: Monday, October 26, 2009
Time: 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. (Presentation at 7 p.m.)
Location: Ottawa City Hall, Jean Pigott Place, 110 Laurier Avenue West
Transit Routes: 5, 6, 14, and Transitway routes
