Ottawa Neighbourhood
Study
"Our goal is to better understand the neighbourhoods in which
we live and play in order to provide evidence on which aspects are
important for health and well-being. We also wish to provide the City
of Ottawa, health organizations, social organizations, and citizens
with information on Ottawa’s 86 neighbourhoods that will help
them to identify what is working well, and where community development
is needed."
Asian Heritage Month
In May, we celebrate the history of Asian Canadians. CBC Ottawa has
set up this site, with event listings, news stories, links, and more.
Ottawa Haunting and
Paranormal Group
This ghost-hunting group is "a non-profit organization dedicated
to research and document, any activity such as ghost, haunting or
any paranormal activity and metaphysical manners."
Ottawa Seniors
This site is run by local Web designer Eric Manherz, who created it
in 1998. It features news, events, and a directory of senior services
and info with more than 400 entries.
